The library has close to 400 books – and is considered to have the best selection in Gulu. One must bear in mind that most schools have a limited number of textbooks and the majority of students cannot afford personal copies. The St. Kizito Library makes textbooks available for students to use at the library. In fact, all books are available for use or to be read in the library – no books are loaned out. It is easy to understand, as mentioned in the February post, why a St. Kizito board member was so impressed by how quiet the library was – as mentioned in that post – the library was full of students and all were deeply engaged in their studies. The library serves St. Kizito scholars – but it also welcomes other students as well.

The St. Kizito Foundation is very grateful to its’ donors for their generosity which makes the library and learning possible!
